The company also offers steaks, cutlets, portions, loins, kebabs, steak combos (steaks plus tail fillets); Salmon, white fish or other seafood; and other options as agreed with the customer.
Value Added Products
The company also offers breaded, pre-fried, dusted, marinated, grilled, battered, topped, filled with sauce, delicatessen product, fresh fish ready meals, and smoked fish.
Markets
The company’s main source of revenues is the sale of Atlantic salmon. Europe is by far the major market for its salmon, representing approximately 70% of its total revenues in 2017.
Strategy
The company focuses on being an integrated provider of proteins from the ocean, taking the lead in all key areas, from the production of fish feed to meeting the needs of the market.
History
The company was incorporated in Norway in 1992 pursuant to the Norwegian Public Limited Liability Companies Act. It was formerly known as Marine Harvest ASA and changed its name to Mowi ASA in January 2019.
