Segments

The company operates through Poultry and Related Operations, Grain Growing Operations, and Other Agricultural Operations segments.

Poultry and Related Operations

This segment includes the production and sale of chicken meat, by-products (such as vegetable oil and related products), and other poultry-related products, as well as sunflower oil, mixed fodder, and convenience food products.

This segment integrates all functions related to the production of chicken, including hatching, fodder manufacturing, raising chickens to marketable age (grow-out), processing and marketing of branded chilled products.

Grain Growing Operations

This segment includes the production and sale of grain other than feed grains and greenfodder.

Other Agricultural Operations

This segment primarily includes the production and sale of cooked meat, sausages, beef, milk, goose meat, foie gras, fruits, and feed grains. This segment also includes meat processing, cultivation and selling fruits, and producing beef and meat products ready for consumption.

Dispositions

In February 2017, the company sold Druzhba Narodiv Nova, which engaged in the production and sale of chicken meat products in poultry and related operation segment; Druzhba Narodiv, which engaged in the production and sale of sausages and cooked meats in other agricultural segment; and Crimea Fruit Company, which engaged in the cultivating and sale of fruits in other agricultural segment.

History

The company was founded in 1998. It was formerly known as MHP S.A. and changed its name to MHP SE in August 2017. The company was incorporated in Luxembourg in 2006.
