Senvest Capital Stock

Senvest Capital Inc., through its subsidiaries, holds investments in equity and real estate holdings that are located predominantly in the United States.

The company has a portfolio of real estate investments. It invests in different U.S. real estate income trusts (REITs) and partnerships. These REITs and partnerships are not publicly traded and there is no established market for them. The most likely scenario for a disposal of these holdings is an eventual sale of the underlying real estate properties of the REITs and partnerships and the distribution to its holders. Also, there are minority interests in private entities whose main assets are real estate properties.

The company also has investment properties in lands and buildings. The company consolidates the Senvest Management LLC (SML) entity that serves as the investment manager of Senvest Partners and Senvest Technology Partners, as well as the general partners of the funds.

The company collects zero-interest bearing deposits from exchanges and institutional investors trading digital currencies, such as Bitcoin, which it can deploy into interest-earning assets.

History

The company was incorporated under Part I of the Canada Corporations Act in 1968. It was formerly known as Sensormatic Canada Limited and changed its name to Senvest Capital Inc. in 1991.
