Mawson Gold Stock

Mawson Gold Limited, an exploration stage company, engages in the acquisition and exploration for precious and base metal deposits. It has a wholly owned Subsidiary, Mawson Sweden, which was incorporated under the laws of Sweden in April 2004.

The Company, through its wholly owned Subsidiary, Mawson Sweden, entered into two assignment agreements with Sierra Peru. Pursuant to each Option and JV Agreement, Mawson Sweden has the right to acquire from NAN up to an 80% interest the Vargbacken Property.

The Vargbacken Property is in the western part of the Skellefte mining district in northern Sweden. Vargbacken Mining Permit covers 20.5238 hectors. In addition to the Varbgacken Property, the Company also has the option to acquire the Stenberget Property under the second Option and JV Agreement. Stenberget Exploration Permit covers 645.49 ha.

In June 2004 an exploration permit was granted by the Swedish Mining Inspectorate to Mawson Sweden in respect of the Granselliden Exploration Area. The Company has also submitted an application to acquire the Granselliden nr 2 Exploration Permit (the Granselliden Application Area) which is located within the Granselliden Exploration Area and surrounds the Vargbacken Property. Granselliden nr 1Exploration Permit covers 7 806.46 ha and Granselliden nr 2 Exploration Permit covers 498.8 ha. The Company has also acquired, by staking, seven additional exploration permits within the Vargbacken Property.
