LNG (Liquefied Natural Gas) Projects Chiyoda share price history

Baseload LNG projects completed by the company are currently producing more than 33 million ton per annum (mtpa). In addition, Chiyoda engages in Front End Engineering and Design (FEED) or Project Specification (PS) works by major LNG projects to bring measurable benefits to investors. Chiyoda is also a contractor of LNG receiving terminals, having been involved in extensive LNG receiving terminal projects mainly in Japan. Synthesis Gas

Chiyoda has engineered and built many plants, as is proven by its 60% share of Japanese hydrogen plant construction. As Integrated Gasification Combined Cycle (IGCC), Gas to Liquids (GTL), and Gas to Chemicals (GTC) become prevalent, demand for larger-scale, economical synthesis gas plants should arise. Chiyoda constantly works to develop innovative catalysts and furnace technologies, which enable longer and more stable operation in severe conditions at high temperatures and pressures.

Chemicals

The Company’s chemical plants help convert natural resources such as gas or oil into the materials that are easily turned into end products. The engineering and construction of chemical plants requires a vast storehouse of technical know-how. Chiyoda has accomplishments in various processes, including ethylene, propylene and its derivatives, C4/C5 distillates for synthetic rubber, aromatics related to paint and detergent or fiber materials, high performance polymers such as engineering plastics, and fine chemicals.

Petroleum Refining

The company’s expertise runs from initial business development, detailed feasibility studies, front-end engineering package development, detailed engineering, procurement, and construction, to final commissioning, start-up, and operation and maintenance services. The Chiyoda Thoroughbred 121 (CT-121) Flue Gas Desulfurization (FGD) process is to provide the best conditions for SO2 absorption in flue gas from coal-fired boiler, oil-fired boiler and so on and for fixation of the removed SO2 from flue gas as gypsum.

CASOX

Flue Gas De-SOx Process by Catalytic SOx-Oxidation

Flue Gas De-SOx Process by Catalytic SOx-Oxidation (CASOX Process) is an innovative process that uses a newly developed high performance desulfurizing catalyst. CASOX Process leads to significant reductions in construction and operating costs, compared with conventional flue gas desulfurization processes. Concentrated sulfuric acid, gypsum and ammonium sulfate can be produced as byproduct of this process.

Water Treatment

BIOFINER® (Biological Wastewater Treatment System)

The BIOFINER® is a fixed bed biological wastewater treatment system. BIOFINER® carriers to capture a variety of microorganisms. The BIOFINER® carriers can hold high concentrations of microorganisms and provide high-performance treatment. They can be used in brand new wastewater treatment facilities and to increase the capacity of existing treatment facilities.

The BIOFINER® carriers are hollow cylinders made of non-woven polypropylene fabric. The BIOFINER® carriers have a large surface area so it is possible to capture high concentrations of microorganisms.

BIOFINER®-N

BIOFINER®-N Conventional systems, such as an existing activated sludge system, can easily be revamped to the BIOFINER®-N system due to its simple construction. The fixed bed type nitrification reactor uses cylindrical carriers made of non-woven fabrics. Either a fixed bed type or fluidized bed type reactor can be applied for the denitrification reactor. Selection of the reactor type is detemined ley treatment conditions, such as the wastewater composition.

Soil Improvement & Remediation

The CTG® Engineering Method is a technique for effectively and simultaneously solidifying and stabilizing all sorts of soft ground and sludges. The technique is applicable to various environmental measures such as the remediation of lakes, seashores and castle moats impacted by sludges, the reinforcement of ground for roads and reclaimed land, as well as the solidification of industrial sludges.

CTG® Engineering Method offer various other features such as the solidification and deodorization of soil emitting sulfureous odors and the fixation of harmful metals. On the technical side, the company can develop plans for design and engineering of a project to meet specific needs.

PackDrain® Method

Chiyoda Pack Drain Method (CPD) was developed to resolve some of the drawbacks of conventional sand drains. It is the most reliable soil consolidation method anywhere for improving reclaimed land and soft ground. This method provides greater sand pile integrity after installation and ground consolidation is completed because the risk of the piles being pinched off or otherwise damaged is significantly reduced.
