Segments

Regulated Networks
This segment provides electricity and gas distribution services in Auckland. This segment receives revenue from business customers and energy retailers who sell energy to end customers for electricity and gas distribution services in Auckland.
Gas Trading
This segment engages in natural gas and LPG sales, storage, and transportation. Gas Trading sales include three revenue streams: sale of natural gas, and distribution and sale of LPG.
Sale of Natural Gas: The company receives revenue from business customers for providing a supply of natural gas over a contracted time period.
Sale of LPG: Sale of LPG includes bulk LPG sales to commercial customers and bottled LPG sales to both commercial and residential customers.
Distribution of LPG: The company provides services in the areas of bulk LPG storage, distribution and management.
Metering
This segment receives revenue from business customers for providing electricity and gas metering and data services.
Others
The company’s other revenue includes telecommunications revenue and revenue from providing energy solution services. Telecommunications revenue from commercial customers include the sale of fiber services. Energy solutions services include the sale of home and commercial ventilation and solar services.
Disposition
The sale of the company’s Kapuni gas interests to Todd Petroleum Mining Company Limited was completed in March 2020.
History
Vector Limited was incorporated in 1990.
