Hyundai Steel Company operates in the steel industry in South Korea. It engages in the manufacture and sale of iron, rollings and heavy machinery parts. The Company has sales offices in Asia, Latin America, the United States, Canada, Europe, and the Middle East.

The Company offers various products, including wide flange shapes, angles, rails, steel bars for concrete reinforcement, round bar, sheet piles, STS, steel casting products, cast rolls for rolling mill, and track chain assembly. It also offers H-Bearing Piles, Checkered H-Beam, Light Sections, Structural Tees (Cut Tees), I-Beams, I-Section Steel for Mine Support (Mining I-Beams), Equal Angles, Unequal Angles, Inverted Angles, Channels, and Sheet Piles. The Company also manufactures and sells steel railroads and special stainless steels.

History

Hyundai Steel Company was founded in 1953 as Korea Heavy Industry Corporation. It changed its name to Incheon Heavy Industry Company in 1962, to INI Steel Company in 2001, and to Hyundai Steel Company in March 2006.
