The company has four big families of hearing-aids, based on position: behind the ear, in the ear, glasses, and case. From a technological standpoint, the main differences consist in the circuits used to process the signal. Sound is amplified through three types of electronic circuits: analogue, programmable, and digital.

Cochlear Implant Systems

The Cochlear Implant is a device designed to electrically stimulate the cochlea, able to replace the function of the cochlear hair cells and convert the sound into electrical pulses, which directly stimulate the acoustic nerve in order to produce hearing at the level of the cortical areas in patients with total or profound deafness.

The cochlear implants are designed and developed to help children and adults suffering from sensorineural hearing loss or ‘missing’ acoustic nerve.

Implantable hearing-aids

Implantable hearing-aids represent a new development in medical electronics technology. Implantable Hearing-Aids allow persons in good health, and with neurosensory hearing loss, to improve their hearing capacity. Its implantable hearing-aids convert the sound into vibrations inside the middle ear. These vibrations are amplified by the electronics of the device to make them louder than those the patient would normally receive with sound waves transmitted through the auditory canal and the eardrum.
